All About...FAQ
Often, there are common reasons why a bra doesn’t fit properly. Here are some of the most frequently asked questions:
My bra seems to fit when I try it on but then during the day, I am popping out over the top of the cup.
Try a different size cup. Any bulges over the top of the bra indicate a cup size that is too small. Try a size bigger.
My bra rides up my back and moves about when I do!
The most common mistake we make is wearing a back size that is too big, which causes the strap to ride up and move around. The strap around your body should fit snugly and should not move around. If this is happening, try a smaller back size but remember that this will mean you need to try a bigger cup size.
The bra cups are wrinkly on the sides and at the top
This is usually a sign that the cup size is too big, try a cup size smaller.
The bra is all wrinkly at the tip of the cup.
This may show that the cup size is too small as your boobs are too big to fit into the cup properly. Try a bigger cup size.
When I take my bra off at the end of the day, I have deep red shoulder strap marks on my shoulders.
This indicates that the bra straps are taking most of the strain of supporting your boobs. This is the job of the back strap. If this is happening you could be wearing a back strap that is too big and therefore not supportive enough. Try a smaller back size.
The under wires are really annoying me as they stick out at the front and dig in under my arms.
This often happens when the cup size is too small, as your boobs are pushing the bra away from your body. The wires should lie perfectly flat against your body; remember to check your profile in the mirror.
